Rage 2 trailer2/26/2023 While it's not a direct comparison, this combat racer has plenty in common with Criterion's arcade classic. Designed as a successor to Rollcage, races range from missile-filled deathmatches to more traditional point to point driving. Join in with Lionel Richie and drive on the ceiling with GRIP. It's wonderfully innovative and deserves a look, even if you're just playing against AI. Even so, it's still a unique and expressive driving game that removes racing from the equation and survives on sheer combat. A few weeks ago, Bethesda revealed that the game runs at 1080p 60 FPS on Xbox One X. The last game to carry the mantle of Burnout successor, Onrush is an online game that failed to find an audience. Rage 2 seems like a truly expansive experience, and we cant wait until it launches in May. Explosions, fast vehicles, and outright mayhem await in this collection of Burnout alternatives. Whether you've already blazed through Dangerous Driving or you're looking for something a little more polished, there are plenty of great games that carry the spirit of Burnout forward. The frantic conclusion brings together all the elements the trailers have showcased thus far to provide a comprehensive taste of the Rage 2 we’re going to get.ġ0 Burnout Alternatives to Try After Dangerous Driving According to the narrator, “the whole f**king world is out to get me, so I gotta get it first.” The trailer ends with a furious blitz of gameplay, cinematics, and more witty quips. The narrator stops his furious listing of eccentric enemies to have an argument with a “smug cliff” and take aim at a buffalo minding its own business. The new Rage 2 trailer includes the series signature dose of humor as well. While much of the trailer is set in the bare wasteland, we get to see some of the more colorful and futuristic style of the game’s factories and outer structures. You’ll also come up against glowing cyborgs, invisible samurais, and a “cyber crushers (with a laser on its head!).” Alongside the numerous enemies, the trailer sets more of the stage for Rage 2, giving us a better look at some of the different locations in the game. From “that redneck mech” to “this convoy of death” there seems to be some crazy machinery for you to take down in Rage 2. The trailer cycles through a number of potential foes, with the narrator enthusiastically highlighting each one. This time around it’s the turn of the enemies you’ll face. The previous Rage 2 trailer showed off some of the outlandish weapons at your disposal in the game. “This world is an arena, and it’s everything… versus me.” Summary: Dive headfirst into a dystopian world devoid of society, law, and order. The trailer features a whole bunch of ludicrous enemies you’ll have to take down as well as some of the more juvenile fun to be had. A new Rage 2 trailer showcases more wild and explosive goings-on in the apocalyptic wasteland.
